Worcester Volunteer Centre does not receive funding from the County Council to cover the cost of its volunteering services. We receives a community grant from Worcester City Council that helps us to run a basic volunteer brokerage service, which enables us to promote voluntary opportunities, signpost people to these opportunities and provide organisational support to voluntary and community organisations in Worcester City. We are continually seeking funding (grants, donations, sponsorship) to support more in-depth project work with specific groups or individuals.
Worcester Volunteer Centre charges a fee for volunteer management training, unless this is delivered in workshop format as part of our quarterly Voluntary Organisations of Worcester network meetings.
